Since February 24, 2021, the Ridgeway News column published in the Bethany Republican-Clipper of Bethany, Missouri, has included a "Bit of History" section -- a short news item about something that happened in the City of Ridgeway past. Most of these are light-hearted and fun events people enjoyed or some silly little thing that happened.
To preserve these items, I will be copying them here and including whatever images I added to the Ridgeway Community Betterment Association -MO Facebook post when I reposted the column to that page. As many people do not either read the Bethany paper or follow RCBA's Facebook page, this provides one more way that Ridgeway residents and friends may be informed about Ridgeway events, projects and happenings.
