Donations of snacks are appreciated and for October, the theme for snacks is fall flavors and colors. There are always three winners per game and lots of prizes for all ages. The Ridgeway Community Betterment Association is collecting old quilts and outdoor Christmas decorations as part of two of their projects. The quilts will be hung along the walls of the old Lions Hall in an effort to dampen the echos produced by the concrete walls and high ceiling. If you have old quilts that are still in good shape that you no longer want, please contact Paula Scott. The group is also asking for unwanted outdoor Christmas decorations to use in both city parks during the holidays. To donate, please contact Shelly Lovitt.
